The Intercultural French Program designed by the Agence Iter France specifically for ITER personnel has received the European Label for Innovation and Quality. Its mission is to provide a multicultural environment in which to learn not only the French language but about French culture and all the other ITER cultures.
The program, for all levels, consists of:
- group classes (twice a week),
- individual tutoring sessions (once a month),
- workshops on daily life in France compared to other countries (once a month)
- ITERcultural seminars on understanding our different cultures (once a month)
- Informal breakfasts in French (once a month).
This program is available on site for ITER personnel, in Manosque and in Aix-en-Provence for spouses. Registration, level evaluation and a personal interview are required before starting the program. Each participant upon registration is given our program guidelines and a French survival book.
