Marc Diedisheim and Elizabeth Sultan from Diversophy.
Biography:
Marc Diedisheim (diversophy® FRANCE) has 16 years of work experience in cross-cultural environments and has been a professional organizational development and management trainer since 1998. He has worked in Northern Africa, the Middle East and Europe as a manager and has been a trainer in “Leadership Management” courses in multicultural environments.
Elizabeth Sultan completed her training in Intercultural Communication at INALCO National Institute of Oriental Languages and Civilizations (INALCO) in Paris with her dissertation, "Expatriation and the Shock of Return: A Question of Cultural Identity". She’s co-author of “Cultural Detective: the Return”.She works with Diversophy FRANCE, an organization of consulting and intercultural training having a membership of SIETAR FRANCE, the Society of Intercultural Education, Training and Research.
Abstract:
After an introduction on cultures, Marc and Elizabeth will focus on core cultural values and ask the participants to discover their own cultures and discuss how these core values influence our behavior. By playing the Diversophy ® cross-cultural game on cultural competence, this workshop will give hands-on experience to those who wish to approach intercultural competence through the use of game-playing.
